Andreas Rippert

Andreas Rippert (* 1958 ) is a German civil servant and since 1995 head of the ordnance disposal service of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen .

After Rippert had initially served with mine divers in the German Armed Forces , he began his service with the ordnance disposal service of the state of Hamburg in 1985 . On April 1, 1995, he became head of the ordnance disposal service at the Bremen police headquarters . During his service time, 7,700 bombs, 5,900 grenades and more than 5,500 kilograms of ammunition were defused or destroyed.

On March 4, 2008, he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon by the Mayor of Bremen, Jens Böhrnsen, on behalf of the Federal President .
