Andreas Saller

Andreas Martin Saller (born September 3, 1982 in Coburg ) is a former German basketball player. The 2.05 meter tall indoor player played for GHP Bamberg  in the basketball league and was a German junior national player.

career

As a youth, Saller moved from Coburg to TSV Breitengüßbach , where he made the leap into the second division men's team. In 2000 he played international matches for the German U18 national team and took part in the European championship and the Albert Schweitzer tournament  .

From the 2000/01 game year he was also part of the Bundesliga club GHP Bamberg , made his debut in the basketball league in January 2001 , but was still mainly used in Breitengüßbach to gain playing experience. Later, European Cup appearances were added to the Bamberg shirt. Saller had played 27 Bundesliga games for Bamberg by 2004.

From 2005 to 2009 he played for 1. FC Baunach  in the regional league, later he played for BBC Coburg  and SpVgg Rattelsdorf.
