Andreas Sauli (born September 6, 1965 ) is a former German ice hockey player .

Career

The attacking player Andreas Sauli was in the squad of the Bundesliga club ECD Iserlohn in the 1984/85 season , but remained in the top German division during the season. In 1985 he moved to the upper division EHC Unna and a year later to ESC Ahaus , with whom he reached the qualifying round for the 2nd Bundesliga North , but failed there with his team. For the 1987/88 season Sauli first returned to EHC Unna before he moved to league rivals Herford EG during the season and managed to stay up with the East Westphalia .

In 1988 Sauli returned to Iserlohn and joined the ECD Sauerland , with which he immediately became champion of the Oberliga Nord and later rose to the 2nd Bundesliga North. In the 1989/90 season, the ECD Sauerland was promoted to champions of the 2nd Bundesliga North, but missed promotion to the Bundesliga with his team in the following promotion round. Also in 1991 the championship in the northern group was followed by failure in the promotion round. Then Sauli returned to EHC Unna in the Oberliga Nord.

When he had to stop playing a year later, Sauli ended his career. Today Sauli works as a sports facility manager in Iserlohn.
