Andreas Schreiner (referee)

Andreas Schreiner is a former German basketball referee and player.

Life

The carpenter employed in the interior position moved from Post Mannheim to the Bundesliga club USC Heidelberg in 1984 . With the USC rose in the 1984/1985 season from the top division of the country. He remained loyal to the USC in the 2nd Bundesliga basketball league  , in 1987 he moved within the league to Leimen.

Schreiner, who studied medicine in Mannheim and Heidelberg, was a referee in the basketball league from 1995 , and ended his career in 2016. He works in a managerial position at a pharmaceutical company and, in the course of his work, is often present as a speaker at medical conferences, and Schreiner has also contributed to numerous medical articles and books (especially in the areas of epilepsy and schizophrenia as well as corresponding treatments using drugs, for example) .
