Andreas stop

Andreas Stopp (* 1958 ) is a radio journalist and head of the media department at Deutschlandfunk , whose main daily program is “ @mediasres ”.

Life

Stopp studied media education in Bonn and Cologne. Since 1986 he has been a radio journalist at Deutschlandfunk in Cologne with internships and stays abroad in Austria, Italy and France.

Until 1991 he was a research assistant for media education at the University of Bonn and since 1992 he has been an editor in the science and education department at Deutschlandfunk. There he designed and took over the editorial management of the media magazine “Markt und Medien”, which was later broadcast as “@mediasres”, as well as the cultural travel magazine “Sonntagsspaziergang” and the magazine “Lebenszeit”.

He also designs and moderates public events such as the “cologne IT summit” as well as live broadcasts and the award of the Kurt Magnus Prize for above-average performance by the young generation among ARD radio journalists . He gives training at the chair for communication science at the University of Bamberg .
