Andreas Willscher

Andreas Willscher (born November 4, 1955 in Hamburg ) is a German church musician and composer .

Life

Willscher studied at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater with Günter Friedrichs and Ernst-Ulrich von Kameke . Since 2000 he has been a church musician for St. Joseph in Hamburg-Wandsbek . Concert tours have taken him to France and the Czech Republic .

  • 1985 at the Oldenburg composition competition Big Band and Symphony Orchestra
  • 1985 at the composition competition of DHV Bielefeld
  • 1997 at the composition competition of the Evangelical City Church Association Cologne
  • 1995: Prize for music from the Sudeten German Landsmannschaft
  • 2012: Ansgar Medal of the Archdiocese of Hamburg
  • 2016: Johann Wenzel Stamitz Prize of the Esslingen Artists' Guild
