Andreas Wissemann

Andreas Wissemann (born August 16, 1961 in Tübingen ) is a German chess player . He is German champion in correspondence chess .

Andreas Wissemann won the finals of the 29th German Correspondence Chess Championship 1997/2000. With eight points from twelve games he became German correspondence chess master .

In 2003 he was awarded the Silver Badge of Honor of the German Correspondence Chess Federation. He holds the title of National Correspondence Chess Master . His last correspondence chess rating was 2476 in the fourth quarter of 2013.

In tournament chess, Wissemann plays for Vorwärts Orient Mainz in the 2nd Rhineland-Palatinate League. His highest rating in local chess was 2088 from January 2002 to June 2009 (status: November 2013), his DWZ is 1883 (status: November 16, 2013).
