Andrew Barkworth Wright

Sir Andrew Barkworth Wright ( November 30, 1895 - March 24, 1971 ) was a British colonial administrator.

Between March 29, 1947 and December 1949 he was governor of Gambia and represented George VI. in the British colony of Gambia . He then served as governor of the colony of Cyprus from August 4, 1949 to 1953.

Wright was in 1948 as a Knight Commander of the Order of St Michael and St George to hit Knight .
