Hilary Rudolph Robert Blood
Sir Hilary Rudolph Robert Blood (born May 28, 1893 in Kilmarnock , † June 20, 1967 in Kent ) was a British colonial official.
Life
Between March 23 1942 and March 29, 1947 he was governor in British Gambia and represented George VI. in the British colony. He then served as governor of the Mauritius colony from September 26, 1949 to January 11, 1954.
Blood was knighted in 1944 .
