Andrew Fastow
Andrew Stuart Fastow (born December 22, 1961 in Washington, DC , USA ) was Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the energy company Enron from 1998 to 2001 . In 2006 he was sentenced to six years in prison for fraud in the wake of the "Enron scandal" . His role in the bankruptcy of Enron plays an important role in the documentary The Smartest Guys in the Room , which deals with the Enron scandal.
Fastow was released from prison in late 2011. He started working for a law firm in Houston shortly thereafter. Fastow often speaks about ethics in the business world in universities or large corporations.
