Sir Andrew Douglas Pulford , GCB , CBE (born March 22, 1958 ) is a British Air Chief Marshal and has been in command of the Royal Air Force since 2013 .

Life

Andrew Pulford joined the Royal Air Force in 1977 and completed his helicopter pilot training. First he was used in the No 72 Squadron on the Westland Wessex model , and later retrained to the Boeing-Vertol CH-47 Chinook . So far, he has achieved a total of around 5000 flight hours.

Pulford has served in Northern Ireland , the Falkland Islands , Lebanon , the Balkans and the Persian Gulf .

Private

Andrew Pulford is married with two children.
