Andrew Rossi is an American documentary filmmaker who has served as director , producer and cameraman in his films to date .

Life

Rossi grew up in New York City and studied at Yale University and graduated from Harvard Law School . He started as a producer of the film Control Room in 2004 and made three further documentaries in feature film format by 2011 in the triple role of director, producer and cameraman. In 2013 he was commissioned by CNN Films to produce additional documentaries for them for both television and cinemas.

In 2018 he was appointed to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences , which awards the Oscars every year.
