Andrius Kuliešis

Andrius Kuliešis (born August 2, 1943 in Kreiviai , Ukmergė district ) is a Lithuanian forest scientist and professor .

Life

After finishing high school in 1960 graduated from the middle school Kuliešis 1965, the diploma program of forestry engineering and April 25, 1972 doctorate on the Forest Inventory in Lithuania on Lietuvos valstybinių miškų medienos turio įvertinimo atrankiniais metodais patirtis at the Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija in Kaunas . On June 20, 1990 , Kuliešis completed his habilitation on the forest inventory on the subject of Medynų našumo kontrolės sistemos teorinis ir eksperimentinis pagrindimas at the Agricultural Academy of Ukraine .

From 1972 he worked as a research assistant and from 1989 to 1992 as deputy director at Miškų institutas in Girionys . From 1992 to 996, Kuliešis was head forester at the Dubrava forestry in Girionys. From 1994 he taught at the Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija . From 2001 he was a professor at Lietuvos žemės ūkio universitetas . From 1997, Kuliešis headed the Miškotvarkos institutas as director and from 2003 Valstybinė miškotvarkos tarnyba in Kaunas . On June 30, 2005, Kuliešis received his doctorate on Miško sklypų homogeniškumas ir jų ribų formavimosi dėsningumai in forest science at the Aleksandras Stulginskis University .

Kuliešis also teaches at the Kaunas College of Forest and Environmental Engineering .
