The Andrus Point is a striking, rocky and finger-shaped headland at the Borchgrevink Coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It juts out into Lady Newnes Bay towards the floating glacier tongue of the Parker Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis of its own measurements and with the help of aerial photographs of the United States Navy between 1960 and 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it after Commander Harold Rex Andrus (* 1924), logistics officer on the command staff of the support units of the United States Navy in Antarctica from 1962 to 1966.
