Andrzej Krzanowski

Andrzej Krzanowski [ ˈandʒɛɪ̯ kʃaˈnɔfsci ] (born April 9, 1951 in Bielsko-Biała ; † October 1, 1990 in Czechowice-Dziedzice ) was a Polish composer and accordionist . Krzanowski studied composition at the National University of Music in Katowice from 1971 to 1975.

Krzanowski revolutionized the accordion playing and opened up new areas for this popular instrument; Krzanowski was the first to write symphonies for the accordion.
