Andy Ashurst
Andy Ashurst (actually Andrew John Ashurst ; born January 2, 1965 in Manchester ) is a former British pole vaulter .
In 1986 he won the Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh for England . At the Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988, he was eliminated from qualification without a valid attempt.
In 1994 he finished sixth at the Commonwealth Games in Victoria .
He was once English master outdoors (1994) and four times indoors (1986, 1988–1990). He was also five times British champion (1985, 1986, 1988, 1990, 1991).
