Andy Hurst (* 1974 in Brighton ) is a British director and screenwriter.

Professional background

Andy Hurst started making his own short films at the age of twelve. With the shooting of his first feature film Project: Assassin - Der Gedankenkiller , he began in 1992 during his school holidays. At the Cannes International Film Festival , Hurst met producer Marco Weber . With his help, the film was finally completed and published in 1997. Weber was also the producer of You Are Dead , which Andy Hurst wrote and directed. Andy Hurst also shot the music video for the title song of the same name in the feature film produced by Die Toten Hosen .

Hurst has written the scripts for various thrillers, including Wild Things 2 and Wild Things 3 . In Wild Things 4 ( Wild Things: Foursome ) and Are You Scared? he also directed.

In 2008, Hurst Director in the horror film True Power - Diary of a Serial Killer ( Diary of a Serial Killer ).
