Angel Karaliichev
Angel Ivanov Karalijtschew ( Bulgarian Ангел Иванов Каралийчев , born September 3, 1902 in Strashiza , † December 14, 1972 in Sofia ) was a Bulgarian writer .
Life
He was born the son of a gardener. Karalijchev published early papers in left-wing magazines. In a central work he dealt with the September uprising of 1923 . He has also written more than 40 children's books , including adaptations of fairy tales. In particular, he also contributed to the compilation of the fairy tale collection “ The Voivod's Children ” , published in 1984 after his death .
Honors
Karalijtschew was awarded the Dimitrov Prize.
