Angela Ranft
Angela Ranft (born December 7, 1969 in Weißwasser ) is a former cyclist from the GDR .
She had her first major success with the overall victory in the stage race "Friendship" in Orlová , Czech Republic, in 1987, which she won ahead of Petra Rossner . In 1988 Angela Ranft started at the Olympic Games in Seoul and finished 25th in the road race . Twice - in 1987 and 1989 - she won the Czechoslovak stage race Gracia Orlová . In 1986 she was third in the GDR road championship , in 1987 and 1988 second. At the Berlin winter track races she was third in the single pursuit in 1986 and second in 1987. In 1987 she finished second in the points race .
Angela Ranft started for SC Karl-Marx-Stadt .
