Angelina Boric

Angelina Borić (born July 24, 1907 in Višnjićevo near Šid , Syrmia , Austria-Hungary ; probably †) was a Yugoslav psychologist and special education teacher .

Life

She graduated from the University of Zagreb in 1934 . During the Second World War she worked at schools in Valjevo , Mladenovac and Belgrade , after the end of the war she worked as a psychologist at the Institute for Vocational Training in Zagreb and in the Ministry of Social Affairs of the SR Croatia . From 1948 to 1962 she taught at the Pedagogical University in Zagreb , from 1962 to 1972 she was professor for special education at the University of Zagreb. Her research areas were the educational and professional opportunities of people with intellectual disabilities and how healthy people deal with these people.
