Angeliemi [ ˈɑŋːɛlniɛmi ] is a former municipality in southwest Finland and is now part of the city of Salo . Angeliemi was detached from Halikko as an independent municipality in 1916 and reincorporated in 1967. At the beginning of 2009 Halikko was again incorporated into the city of Salo.

Fishingiemi is located on the northeastern tip of the island of Kimitoön in the archipelago off the coast of the Varsinais-Suomi landscape . Fishingiemi is only separated from the mainland by the narrow Kokkilanselkä Sound. From the mainland, fishingiemi can be reached via a ferry connection. The municipality fishingiemi had an area of ​​63.7 km². In addition to the area on Kimitoön, a smaller area on the mainland around the village of Kokkila and some smaller islands belonged to it. The area around Angeliemi is Finnish-speaking , while the rest of Kimitoön belongs to the settlement area of ​​the Finland-Swedes . The main attraction of fishing is the wooden church from 1772.
