Angelo Iacono
Angelo Iacono (sometimes Angelo Jacono , * 1937 in Naples ) is an Italian film producer .
Life
After first encounters with the film world as assistant to Roberto Rossellini and production secretary a . a. for Federico Fellini at the beginning of the 1960s, Iacono switched entirely to film production, initially as a production inspector, later as its director and then as an independent producer. His work with Dario Argento and Vittorio Salerno is particularly important. In 1979 he was a one-time director; Profumi e balocchi was a modern remake of a 1953 film, which in turn was based on the song of the same title.
