Angelo Muscat
Angelo Muscat (born September 24, 1930 in Malta , † October 10, 1977 in England ) was a short , Maltese actor .
Life
Muscat suffered from short stature and was only 1.30 m tall. In 1965 he made his acting debut in the British television series Doctor Who , in which he played Chumbley in four episodes . He later played minor roles in the Jonathan Millerl film adaptation of Alice in Wonderland and in the Beatles film Magical Mystery Tour , as well as one of the Oompa Loompas in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory .
He had his most famous role between 1967 and 1968 in Patrick McGoohan's cult series number 6 , in which he played the silent butler in 14 of the 17 episodes .
