Anguillita is a small, rocky Caribbean island off the southwest tip of Anguilla and, like the main island, belongs to the British overseas territory of the same name . The uninhabited island measures around 300 by 100 meters and is separated from Anguilla by an arm of the sea that is almost 400 meters wide. A narrow channel runs in the middle of the island, so that Anguillita consists of two islets and some rocks, at least at high tide.

Anguillita has no sandy beaches and is not open to tourists, the waters around the island are interesting for divers. At the end of the 20th century, a field experiment was carried out on Anguillita to research the distribution of Caribbean lizards of the genus Anolis . For this purpose, animals of a strange anole species were introduced and the interactions with the native lizards were studied.
