Anika Beer

Anika Beer (pseudonyms: Franka Rubus, Ana Jeromin ; * 1983 ) is a German writer and neurobiologist . She writes mainly in the fields of fantasy and contemporary literature .

biography

Anika Beer grew up in Oerlinghausen in North Rhine-Westphalia . After spending some time in Spain as a nanny, she studied neurobiology at Bielefeld University . She also worked here before setting up a freelance writer in 2010.

Beer became known through her vampire novels The Untouchables and The Blood Giving , which she published under the pseudonym Franka Rubus. Several novels in the fields of youth fantasy and contemporary fiction have appeared under her real name, including When the Black Fairies Came and When the Night falls into pieces . In 2018 she was part of the jury of the Fantastik-Preis Seraph . In her free time, Beer does Ju-Jutsu and Iaidō .
