Anja Fröhlich

Anja Fröhlich (born August 10, 1964 in Geilenkirchen ) is a German writer , youth and children's book author .

Life

Anja Fröhlich was born in 1964 as the only child of the teacher couple Elisabeth and Reinhard Fröhlich. She spent her childhood and youth between the Rhineland , Rome and the Sauerland .

During her studies in film studies , art history and psychology , she made a living as a carer for an aging actor diva, as an accountant on an island in the Maldives and as a ghostwriter for love letters. She later worked as a film editor for a Cologne city ​​magazine and as an advertising copywriter.

Her son was born in 1995 and her first novel was published in 2001. Numerous books for children and young people followed, which have been translated and awarded several times.

Anja Fröhlich lives in Cologne .
