Ann-Christin "Chrissi" Quade (born January 15, 1992 in Cologne ) is a German volleyball player .
Career
Quade started her volleyball career in 2004 at Pulheimer SC after she had previously been more interested in athletics . She later moved to Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen . In the 2010/11 season, the outside attacker, who won the U20 championship with SV Lohhof , played for the VC Olympia Berlin youth team . With the junior national team she reached fourth place at the European Championship 2010. In summer 2011 she went to the first division side Envacom Volleys Sinsheim and 2012 to the Swiss first division side VC Kanti Schaffhausen . With VC Kanti Schaffhausen, she reached the Swiss runner-up in the 2012/13 season, which entitles her to start in the 2013/14 CEV Cup . In the 2013/14 season, Quade and the team reached fourth place in the Swiss league and qualified for the 2014/15 CEV Challenge Cup .
In September 2015, Quade suffered a cartilage injury in his left knee and missed a large part of the season, but was able to successfully support the team in the battle to stay relegated in the last games. In the following season, the team fought to finish eighth, with Quade again injuring the cartilage in his left knee in February 2017. She played the season in the service of the team to the end. Several knee operations and months of rehabilitation followed in 2017 and 2018. During this time she devoted herself to the youth work of VC Kanti Schaffhausen. In the 2018/19 season she made it to the top with the 4th league team and qualified for the Swiss Championship in Geneva with the U13. In addition, Quade made her comeback in the second half of the 2018/19 season after a 20-month injury break in the 2nd team of VC Kanti Schaffhausen. In April 2019, Quade left Switzerland for Göttingen to study medicine. In the 2019/20 season, Quade will be back in Germany after a long absence from abroad and will be competing in the 3rd League West for the team of MTV 48 Hildesheim .
