The VC Kanti Schaffhausen is a Swiss volleyball club from Schaffhausen . The club consists of around 160 members and is based on the areas of youth sports , popular sports and competitive sports .

Club history

The association was founded in 1973 under the name VBC Volta until it was renamed VC Kanti in 1978. As early as 1979 the club achieved its first successes with its youth volleyball team for girls by winning the Swiss championship title. Since 1991 the women's team of VC Kanti has played continuously in the NLA , the 1st volleyball league in Switzerland, and has been runner-up several times. In 2000 and 2009 they became Swiss Cup winners. The VC Kanti also achieved national recognition through the successful participation of the women's volleyball team in the CEV Cup .
