Barry Markus (born July 17, 1991 in Amsterdam ) is a Dutch track and road cyclist .

In 2006, Barry Markus won the Dutch individual time trial in the youth class and won a stage at the Critérium Européens des Jeunes. In the next year he was able to defend his championship title. In 2008 Markus won two stages in the junior class at the Driedaagse van Axel and a section at the Westbrabantse Pijl. On the track he was the Dutch master in Keirin and Madison . In 2009 he won a stage each at the Vlaams-Brabantse Pijl Korbeek-Lo and at the Trofeo Karlsberg . At the European Junior Championships, he won the silver medal in the road race .

In 2010 and 2011 Markus drove for Rabobank Continental , the farm team of ProTeam Rabobank . In 2012 he received his first contract with a ProTeam, Vacansoleil-DCM .

His younger sister Kelly Martin is also a cyclist.
