Double Trouble (TV series)

Double Trouble is an American sitcom that ran on NBC from 1984 to 1985 . It was produced by Embassy Television .

The series is about twin sisters Allison and Kate Foster ( Jean and Liz Sagal ) from Des Moines , who work as aerobics instructors in the gym of their widowed father Art ( Donnelly Rhodes ) and his partner Beth ( Patricia Richardson ) in addition to high school . Allison was conceived as a calm and serious personality, Kate as stormy and mischievous. The first season ran from April 4, 1984 to May 30. On December 1, the second season began, with the twins moving to New York City , where they are trying to gain a foothold as a fashion designer and actress. They live there with their aunt Margo ( Barbara Barrie ) in Manhattan . The series ended on April 20, 1985.
