Ann Sexton
Ann Sexton (* 5. February 1950 as Mary Burton in Greenville (South Carolina) , United States ) is an American soul singer. She is one of the less popular southern soul artists.
Life
Sexton recorded songs in the 1970s, mostly for smaller record labels such as Impel or Dash . Most of her time she worked for the Sound Stage 7/77 family. Her single You're Losing Me , recorded in 1973, was featured in the film 21 grams (2003).
In March 2007 she was back on stage at the Baltic Soul Weekender for the first time since the 1970s, where she is still part of the regular line-up today.
