Anna-Maria Hefele is a German music teacher, singer and voice artist. In addition to singing, she has mastered the harp , mandolin , nyckelharpa and schwegel .

Live and act

She has been involved in overtone singing since 2005, with her first solo compositions following in 2006. In the same year she began building musical instruments for her own use. From 2005 to 2009 she completed an apprenticeship as an illustrative model maker , where she was best of the year in Germany. She completed her studies in elementary music and dance education with a major in singing at the Carl Orff Institute of the Mozarteum Salzburg in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts. She lives in Grafing near Munich .

She works in several ensembles and leads workshops for overtone singing, yodelling and voice improvisation as a music teacher.

  • 2010 to 2012: Singer and overtone singer for the piece Garden of Other at the Ballet of the Nationaltheater Mannheim

  • Singer with the European Overtone Choir under the direction of Steffen Schreyer and Wolfgang Saus
  • Member of the Garchinger Pfeifern under the direction of Gerd Pöllitsch (focus: original alpine folk and piper music)
