Anna Höllerer (born November 27, 1953 in Gobelsburg ) is an Austrian farmer, politician ( ÖVP ) and was a member of the National Council from 2002 to 2013 .

education and profession

Anna Höllerer attended elementary school in Gobelsburg from 1959 to 1963 and then went to Langenlois secondary school . In 1967 she moved to the Realgymnasium Institute of the English Fräulein in Krems an der Donau, which she attended until 1968. She was then a commercial clerk between 1969 and 1975 and attended the agricultural college in Korneuburg from 1971 to 1972 . Höllerer has been a farmer since 1972 and again worked as a commercial clerk between 1979 and 2005. She has also been a master of rural housekeeping since 1978.

politics

Between 1989 and 2001, Höllerer was the district farmer of the Langenlois chamber district and from 1995 to 2000 the area farmer for the Waldviertel region . She has been a rural farmer in Lower Austria since 2000. In 2001 she also took over the chairmanship of the regional office for Lower Austria and Vienna of the farmers' social insurance institution . Höllerer was a member of the Austrian Federal Council from February 24, 2000 to December 11, 2002. On December 20, 2002, she entered the National Council. After the National Council election in 2006, Höllerer did not hold a mandate for a short time, but moved back to the National Council as Minister Josef Pröll's successor after the formation of the government . For the 2013 National Council election, Anna Höllerer declined to run.

Private

Anna Höllerer is married to a wine grower and has two sons. She lives in Engabrunn .
