Anna Hedh (born March 18, 1967 in Uppsala ) is a Swedish politician ( Socialdemokraterna ).

Hedh held various professional activities in which she mainly dealt with children and young people before she switched to politics. She belonged to the Social Democrats of the executive branch of the party association of Kalmar län and the municipal council of Mörbylånga . Since 2000 she has been a member of the nationwide executive, the so-called trust council. She has been a member of the European Parliament since 2004 .

Activities as an EU parliamentarian

Hedh is a member of the Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists & Democrats in the European Parliament . From 2009 to 2014 she is Deputy Chair of the Delegation for relations with Switzerland and Norway, the EU-Iceland Joint Parliamentary Committee and the European Economic Area Joint Parliamentary Committee.

She is also a member of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs . As a deputy, she is in the Committee on Internal Market and Consumer Protection , in the Special Committee against Organized Crime, Corruption and Money Laundering and in the Delegation for relations with the countries of Central America.
