Wehinger, known for her culinary art, has held 82 day courses lasting several weeks and 70 evening courses in the 25 years she has worked in Dornbirn. In 1924, two years after her death, her son Josef Wehinger published the last edition of her bestseller, which then already contained over 1000 recipes. Their recipes bear witness to the times by giving an impression of life in the region at the turn of the century, but most of them are also delicacies for the modern kitchen. The cookbook was last reissued in 2008 in an expanded edition.
