Anna Odenwald

Anna Odenwald (* 1901 ; † 1991 ) was a German nurse.

Career

Odenwald took over the chairmanship of the Baden Sisterhood of the Red Cross as superior on January 1, 1936 . She led the sisterhood through the time of National Socialism and the Second World War. In October 1945 she resigned from her position, but in February 1946 she took over the leadership of the sisterhood again, which she held until 1976. The reconstruction of the Luisenheim fell during her term of office . In 1978 she submitted a chronicle of the sisterhood. Her successor as superior of the sisterhood was Elisabeth Leist in 1976 .
