Anna Regina is the provincial capital of Pomeroon-Supenaam in Guyana . The city is located on the Atlantic coast, northwest of the mouth of the Essequibo , 19 kilometers north of Adventure . Anna Regina was named a city in 1970. Anna Regina has a market square, community center and secondary school. Sights include the Damon Monument, the Damon Cross, the Anna Regina Bridge and the Anglican Church of St. Bartholomew, as well as numerous Dutch graves.
