Adventure is a municipality at the mouth of the Essequibos in the Pomeroon-Supenaam province in the northern part of Guyana .

The community is at lake level one mile south of Onderneeming . There are moorings for ferries to Essequibo, Wakenaam and Parika at the mouth of the river . From Parika there are roads on the west coast to get to Georgetown .
