Pomeroon-Supenaam is a region in northern Guyana . The region borders the Atlantic Ocean to the north, Essequibo Islands-West Demerara to the east, the Cuyuni-Mazaruni regions to the south and the Barima-Waini region to the west . The region is disputed between Guyana and Venezuela .
In the region there are the cities of Anna Regina , Charity , Pickersgill , Spring Garden and Suddie . There are three lakes in the region: Capoey , Mainstay, and Hot and Cold .
