Charity is a port city in the Pomeroon-Supenaam province in Guyana . Charity is located on the Pomeroon , which is the gateway to this part of Guyana as far as Venezuela . As a market place (Monday market ), the city has certain importance for the farmers in the area, including as a supply point for the areas around Anna Regina and Parika .

According to the 2002 census, 1295 people lived in Charity; the 2010 estimate is based on 1439 inhabitants.
