Anna of Nuremberg
Anna of Nuremberg († July 27, 1383 ) was abbess of the Himmelkron monastery from 1370 to 1383.
She came from the family of the burgraves of Nuremberg from the house of the Franconian Hohenzollern . She was the daughter of Burgrave Johann II , who took over control of the Plassenburg from the Counts of Orlamünde and thus also the monastery they had founded. Her mother was Elisabeth von Henneberg († 1377), daughter of Berthold VII. Anna was previously abbess in the Birkenfeld monastery . Your epitaph is on the wall of the nave of the monastery church.
