Annabel Lamb

Annabel Lamb (* 1958 in Surrey , England ) is a British new wave singer and songwriter.

biography

At the age of 15 Annabel Lamb played as a singer and keyboard player in her first rock band. By then she had already written songs herself.

At the age of 20 she married and became a nurse. During this time the music took a back seat, although she continued to play concerts with her old band. She also continued to work on her songs.

In 1980 she recorded several demos with producer Wally Brill, who later produced the album Once Bitten .

In 1983 Lamb had her first hit with a cover version of Riders on the Storm by The Doors . She played the song on Top of the Pops that same year . In the same year Lamb released her debut album Once Bitten .

By 1993 she brought out five more studio albums.
