Anne Delaney

Anne Delaney OFS (born October 10, 1958 in Washington, DC ) is an American composer , singer and songwriter .

Delaney, who is a member of the lay movement of the Ordo Franciscanus Saecularis, was best known as a composer of songs and choral works with religious content. She released two song albums: Wool on The Lamb and On Your Behalf . Her compositions have been played on the radio and she appeared at the memorial service for Mother Teresa in San Francisco.

She received compositions from Catholic churches for liturgical music and an order from the film company ICON for a film music. For her compositions, she was awarded the prize of the Music City Songwriters Festival in the field of gospel , the Bank of America Award in Music and prices of the National Association of Composers (NACUSA), the United Technologies Corporation and the Peninsula Community Foundation .
