Anne Maren Delseit (born June 3, 1986 in Cologne ) is a German writer , comic book author and editor .

Career

Anne Delseit first wrote in school in a writing workshop. In her childhood she was interested in Franco-Belgian and American comics, with Sailor Moon she began her interest in manga and Japanese culture. From 2004 to 2011 she studied law in Cologne.

In 2007, her first works were published by publishers with the short stories Deadlines , The Otherworldly Drink and Everyday Life . Since then she has also translated comics for Fireangels , including Winter Demon and The Chronicles of Aluria . In 2009 her first novel In maiorem dei gloriam was published: To the higher glory of God and the first volume of the Lilientod trilogy, which was implemented in manga style by the illustrator Martina Peters . Fascinated by the comic medium, she intensified her collaboration with comic and manga artists in the following years and wrote scenarios for Fix and Foxi or the comic adaptation of Ferdinand von Schirach's short story Snow . From 2008–2011, Anne Delseit also worked as an author and editor for Comicstars and New Ground Publishing, the joint venture between the Knaur publishing group and Gorilla Concept GmbH. Since the first issue in June 2010, she also writes manga reviews in the monthly comic magazine COMIX and since November 2011 part of the editorial board of the comic journal Comixene . From July to November 2011 she works as a manga expert a. a. recorded together with the comic artist Flix for the web show.tv in front of and behind the camera; since November 2011 she has been moderating the YouTube magazine kokoroto .
