Anne Gross

Anne Groß (* 1963 in Brake (Unterweser) ) is a German administrative judge . She has been President of the Hamburg Higher Administrative Court since 2020 .

Life

After studying law at the University of Passau and the University of Freiburg im Breisgau , she passed her first state examination in 1988 in Freiburg. In 1990 she began her legal clerkship at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court . After the second state examination in 1992, she began working as a judge at the Hamburg Administrative Court in 1993. After secondments to the judicial authority in 2006 and the Hamburg Higher Administrative Court in 2009, she was appointed judge at the Higher Administrative Court in 2012, among other things as presidential judge for the areas of the presidium, organization and public relations. In January 2018 she took over the office of Vice President of the Higher Administrative Court. She was inducted into her office as President on March 26, 2020.
