Anne Beetle

Anne Käfer (* 1977 ) is a German Protestant theologian .

Life

After graduating from high school in June 1995 and the first church examination in February 2001, she worked on her dissertation from 2001 to 2004 . After completing her Rigorosum in 2005 and receiving the doctoral award from the University of Tübingen , she published her dissertation in 2006. From 2006 to 2008 she worked on her habilitation thesis in a separate position at the DFG . From 2008 to 2011 she completed the vicariate in the Evangelical Church in Württemberg . In February 2009 she obtained the license to teach systematic theology in Tübingen . In February 2011 she passed the second ecclesiastical exam. In the summer semester 2011 she was visiting professor at the Humboldt University in Berlin . From 2011 to 2013 Käfer was senior church councilor and consultant for theology and culture in the church office of the EKD . From 2011 to 2015 she taught at the Humboldt University in Berlin . From 2013 to 2016 she was a substitute professor at the Universities of Leipzig , Berlin and Bielefeld . Since 2016 she has been teaching as professor for systematic theology and director of the seminar for reformed theology at the WWU Münster .

Her main research interests are Reformed and Lutheran theology, Schleiermacher research, ethics of justice and ethics of animals and the world around us.
