Annekathrin Kohout
Annekathrin Kohout (* 1989 in Gera ) is a German cultural historian and media scientist.
Career
Kohout studied German at the TU Dresden , art studies and media theory at the HfG Karlsruhe and photography at the HGB Leipzig . Until 2015 she worked at the ZKM Karlsruhe . In addition to her work as a freelance author (including for the publishing house Klaus Wagenbach , transcript Verlag and ZEIT ONLINE ) she is the publisher and editor of the magazine Pop. Culture and Criticism as well as the associated online magazine Pop-Zeitschrift and research assistant at the German Department of the University of Siegen . She is co-editor of the book series "Digitale Bildkulturen" at Verlag Klaus Wagenbach.
