Annelies Reinhold

Annelies Reinhold (born January 5, 1917 in Meran , Tyrol , Austria-Hungary ; † January 6, 2007 in Oldenburg ; born Anneliese Reineke ) was a German actress .

life and career

From 1938 to 1943 she was a dancer at the Staatstheater Kassel . In 1939 she played in Heinrich von Kleist's Amphitryon at the Volksbühne Berlin, and in 1941 in Hermann Sudermann's comedy The Butterfly Battle .

She first appeared in several films as a formation dancer or, unnamed, in small roles. She received her first major film role in 1940 as artist and partner René Deltgens in the circus film The Three Codonas . In 1942 she took on the title role in the love story Violanta , and in 1944 she was seen as a singer in Die Affäre Rödern .

Annelies Reinhold was given important film assignments after the war, most recently in 1950 in König for one night . She then married Paul May , the director of the film, and retired into private life. The marriage later ended in divorce.

Annelies Reinhold died on January 6, 2007, one day after her 90th birthday.
