Annie Jump Cannon Prize for Astronomy
The Annie Jump Cannon Prize in Astronomy is awarded by the American Astronomical Society to a North American-based astronomer who earned her doctorate no more than five years prior to the year for which the prize is awarded.
The award includes a fee of $ 1,500 and an invitation to speak at an AAS meeting.
The award is named in honor of the astronomer Annie Jump Cannon .
