The Ansarullah ( Urdu انصار ﷲ DMG Anṣār Allāh , German 'Helfer Allahs' ) is the sub-organization of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat for men over 40. Ansarullah can be translated as a helper of Allah , whereby Ansar means the inhabitants of Medina , who received the Prophet Mohammed during his hijra and the Muslims asylum granted.

The Ansarullah are not very active in Germany because most of them come from Pakistan and do not have a particularly good knowledge of German.

While the Khuddam ul-Ahmadiyya are more concerned with the manual work involved in building mosques , the Ansarullah are more concerned with the financing. The members of Ansarullah are briefly called Ansar . They should support the Khuddam through upbringing, education and moral support.

organization

The Ansarullah organization corresponds to that of Lajna Imaillah and Khuddam ul-Ahmadiyya (see there). The first annual meeting (Idschtema) took place in 1979. Every male Ahmadi over 40 years of age is a member.

motto

The true Muslim is one who has peace and spreads peace.

activities

The annual meetings of Ansarullah , as last in May 2005 in Bad Homburg, are characterized by community activities:

  • Sports competitions
  • Knowledge competitions
  • Prayers and edifying speeches.

The activities of ansarullah focus is usually on the private sphere of their members and the concerns of the local community.
